In the still.

It is in the still that the battle is won.

In the silence.

When I surrender and you take over.

That is where victory happens.

Not in my striving but in my surrender.

When I come.

I bow.

I humble.

I lay down my weapons.

Allowing stillness to crash into me.

That is when you go to battle.

You tire not.

You strive not.

You win when I relinquish.

Opening my hands and letting all go.

It is in the still.

Mage means magician, what a great way to describe the job of a momma! I’m just one momma making magic, juggling the business of life, trying to embolden other mommas along the way.

  1. Another beautiful blog post . Dad was talking about this thought yesterday on being still and not striving. I shared your writing,” You Are”, with our Belong Group last night because it went along with our conversation.

On our Way to Fenton. We will come back early tomorrow morning for the funeral and return afterwards. I love you 💕
